A family of 6 siblings, aged 18 months to 17 years, was removed from their home and placed with relatives who have two children of their own. CCHT-Texas mobilized rapidly to provide support to the children and their caregivers, and volunteers jumped in to assist and provide for the children. Each child received new clothes, a pair of shoes, toiletries, and their own blanket. Caregivers received Walmart gift cards for food and gas.
