Workshop on Labor Trafficking, Highlighting Sex Trafficking Intersections

For the City Center, Austin

This free workshop, sponsored by Refugee Services of Texas, is intended to highlight and inform best practices for investigations and prosecutions involving forced labor. State and federal experts will provide case examples and the newest research involving labor trafficking with sex trafficking intersections.

Guests can expect presentations and panel discussions from the Department of Homeland Security, the Diplomatic Security Service, the Department of Justice, the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the Houston Police Department, the Office of the Texas Attorney General, the Department of Labor, and the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, just to name a few.
